Trial date set for man accused on shooting a family in Texas County

LICKING, Mo. — Trial dates have been set for a man from Licking who is accused of shooting at a family riding in a buggy in 2021. According to records, 49-year-old Chadwin Wade said that he believed that the man and his family were conspiring to kill him. Wade also told authorities that he thought the man had booby-trapped parts of his property and that the man’s buggy wheels were weapons. Wade’s pretrial conference is set for January 9 and the jury trial is set to begin on February 10th.
