KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The uncertainty surrounding the Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle situation heading into this week was largely focused on who would serve as the Chiefs left tackle. Now, there’s more.
Following the Week 2 benching of second-round pick Kingsley Suamataia and Week 13 benching of second-year pro-Wanya Morris, Kansas City was unsure if recently signed veteran D.J. Humphries would start or if left guard Joe Thuney would slide over into the role he finished Kansas City’s win over the Raiders in.
Humphries is attempting to return to action after tearing his ACL in Week 17 of the 2023 season.
The Chiefs host the Chargers Sunday night at Arrowhead., kickoff is at 7:20, and pregame at 6 on K-Kountry 95
