The Texas County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of a man from Houston on drug trafficking charges. 46-year-old Wesley Choate was arrested after a search warrant was served last week on DD Highway. Law Enforcement found meth and fentanyl along with a firearm and drug paraphernalia. Choate is charged with Second-degree Trafficking Drugs, Delivery of Controlled Substances, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Choate is being held in the Texas County Jail pending a $10,000 cash bond.
