FAYETTEVILLE – Boogie Fland led Arkansas in both scoring and assists in victories over #14 Michigan and UCA to earn SEC Freshman of the Week honors, the league announced today.
Fland averaged 18.0 points, 8.0 assists and 3.5 steals in the two wins.
Fland now ranks second in the SEC and 30th in the NCAA in assists per game (5.7), fourth in the SEC and 44th in the NCAA in assist/turnover ratio (2.86), and 17th in the NCAA in scoring (15.5 ppg).
Among NCAA freshmen, Fland is second in assists at 5.73
