On December 10th, 36-year-old Ronald Lee Baum allegedly stole two Dewalt Batteries at a store in Houston. His vehicle was spotted near Cabool and a pursuit began on Highway 63, the car was found abandoned near PP highway and a foot chase began through a field and wooded area. Baum was eventually caught and arrested. Baum is charged with aggravated fleeing, driving while revoked, resisting arrest, and false impersonation. He also had active warrants from Phelps County.
