The Highway Patrol says that the 40-year-old man was injured when the ATV he was driving slid on a curve and a pickup driven by a 59-year-old man from Mountain View. The Birch Tree man was taken to Mercy St Francis Hospital in Mountain View. The accident happened on county road 496, three miles northeast of Mountain View.
