JONESBORO, Ark. – Joseph Pinion scored 14 points as Arkansas State beat Georgia State 85-59 on Saturday.
Pinion shot 5 for 10, including 4 for 9 from beyond the arc for the Red Wolves (14-5, 5-2 Sun Belt Conference). Taryn Todd scored 12 points and added six rebounds and five assists. Izaiyah Nelson had eight points and finished 4 of 8 from the floor.
NORMAL, Ill. – Johnny Kinziger’s 19 points helped Illinois State defeat Missouri State 74-68 on Saturday night.
The Bears (7-12, 0-8) were led in scoring by Dez White, who finished with 24 points. Missouri State also got 13 points, four assists, and two steals from Vincent Brady II.
WEST PLAINS, MO.—The Missouri State-West Plains Grizzly Basketball team lost to Moberly Area Community College on Saturday 76-50. Shunderris Glass led the Grizzlies with 14 points. MSU-W.P. drops to 9-10 on the season and 2-2 in conference play.
