Missouri State women’s basketball forward Lainie Douglas was named the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week, the league announced today (Jan. 27).
Across wins against Drake and Northern Iowa, Douglas averaged 11.5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, and shot .600 (9-15) from the field in 14.8 minutes per game. She was one of five Lady Bears to average double-figure points on the weekend.
