Howard Applegate was indicted for first-degree murder, armed criminal action, three counts of unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and concealing a felony. Applegate allegedly killed Lance Terrill at a home in Seymour in 2017. He was indicted in 2024 and will go to trial in May of 2026.
