36-year-old Johnny Pearson of Caulfield died in an accident on Jan. 25. The crash occurred on H Highway four miles west of Caulfield. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report says Pearson was traveling westbound on H highway when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, pulled back onto the highway, overcorrected, and drove off the left of the road. He then struck a utility pole and overturned, where he was thrown from the vehicle. The Ozark County Deputy Coroner Ed Doiron pronounced Pearson dead at the scene.
