The West Plains Zizzer boys defeated Mt. Grove Saturday night 77 to 47 to take third place in the Family Pharmacy Panther Classic. Clayton Robbins led four players in double figures for West Plains with 24 points. Josiah Long had 16, Jared Kraft had 13 and Ethan Tuma had 11. Aden Estep led Grove with 12 points followed by Kale Gardner and Sam Peterson with 10 a piece. Zizzer boys are now 10 and 9 on the season and Grove falls to 8 and 10 on the season.
The Thayer Bobcats took third place in the Liberator Tournament at Bolivar on Saturday, beating Metro Academy 65-55. The Bobcats had four players score in double figures led by Devin Harrington with 16 points, Easton Pitts and Brandon Prince with 14 points each, and Hollis Deckard with 10.
