
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark — Zvonimir Ivisic and Johnell Davis combined for 14 of Arkansas’ 17 overtime points and the Razorbacks survived Tre Johnson’s record-setting 39-point performance for an 86-81 win on Wednesday night.
Ivisic scored 18 points, D.J. Wagner added 16, Johnell Davis 14 and Trevon Brazile and Karter Knox 12 each for the Razorbacks (17-11, 6-9).
JONESBORO, Ark. (2/22/25) –Izaiyah Nelson recorded one of the best performances in Arkansas State men’s basketball history with a career-high 30 points and 21 rebounds, helping the Red Wolves to an 83-64 win over Louisiana Wednesday night inside the Cajundome.
Three other players joined Nelson in double-digit scoring for the Scarlet and Black. Taryn Todd tallied 12 points, with Dvondre Dominguez and Joseph Pinnion adding 11 and 10, respectively. Derrian Ford contributed eight points and eight rebounds off the bench, matching his season-best on the glass.
SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State trailed visiting Belmont by 16 points with just under 9 minutes to play here Wednesday before closing the gap to three with just over three minutes left. However, the visiting Bruins finished out the game on an 8-2 run to sink MoState down the stretch, 74-65.
The Bears (9-21, 2-17 MVC) closed out their home slate with 20 points from Dez white, 18 from Vincent Brady II, and 11 by Michael Osei-Bonsu whose 10 rebounds was a game-high and gave him a fifth double-double for the season.
WEST PLAINS MO.—The Missouri State-West Plains Grizzlies lost to Moberly Area Community College Wednesday night 69-66. The Grizzlies fall to 12-17 on the season and 5-8 in conference play.
