A one-vehicle accident occurred yesterday 3 miles northwest of Mansfield. The accident occurred when the truck that a 28-year-old male was driving ran off the right side of the road, and struck a mailbox, and a culvert. The vehicle then skidded overturned and struck a fence. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene while a 23-year-old male was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. The 20-year-old passenger was life-flighted to Cox South Hospital.
