Maurice Jones was arrested on Burglary and Aggravated Assault Charges following a traffic stop on US Highway 60. During the stop, Jones, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to have multiple active warrants out of New Madrid County. Jones was taken into custody on charges of burglary and aggravated assault by Shannon County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) deputies. He was subsequently transported to the Shannon County Jail for incarceration.
Maly L. Wyatt was incarcerated in the Shannon County Jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony. Wyatt is being held without bond at this time.
