
Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports three injury accidents on Monday. Early Monday morning a 60-year-old man from Birch Tree suffered serious injuries when he stopped at an intersection and got out of the vehicle but failed to put it in park and the vehicle ran over him. The man was flown to Cox South in Springfield. the accident happened at the intersection of County Roads 609 and 625 in Birch Tree.
Then around 2:30 Monday afternoon, three people were injured in a three-vehicle accident west of Alton. The Highway Patrol reports that a 49-year-old man from Peace Valley suffered moderate injuries and a 28-year-old woman from Birch Tree and a 27-year-old woman from Myrtle both suffered minor injuries when a 26-year-old man from Birch Tree crossed the center of the road and hit two other vehicles. All three of the injured were taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on Highway 99, two miles west of Alton.
Then last night around 7, a 19-year-old girl from Chelsea Alabama suffered moderate injuries when she drove off the road and overturned the car she was driving. The accident happened on U.S. 60, one mile east of Cabool. The Girl was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
