On or about March 12, 2025, Fulton County Deputies were dispatched to the 400 Block of 223 South regarding an altercation between Stephanie Hendrix (24), and Stephanie’s Grandmother, Virginia Clem (79). According to statements, and witnesses at the scene, Virginia arrived at Stephanie’s address and began yelling at her. When Stephanie refused to go outside, Virginia began throwing rocks at the house breaking the glass in some of the windows. There was a sound described by the victim and a witness of what sounded like a gunshot. Then Virginia yelled that she was going to burn the house down. Virginia then left the residence.
Two minor children under the age of five (5) years old were in the home during this time. Virginia returned to residence while officers were there and made the threat to burn the house down again, and while Virginia was being taken into custody she told Stephanie she was going to kill her for this. That when she gets out she will kill her and burn the house down. Clem is currently being held pending formal charges. This was the probable cause sent to the prosecutor.
