In Missouri, —The Missouri State Emergency Operations Center is activated as state team members continue to respond to the devastating severe storms that damaged homes and buildings, caused widespread power outages, and killed multiple people across the state.
Initial reports indicate there were up to 19 tornadoes of varying strengths that impacted 25 counties in the state.

In a declaration released Saturday, the governor announced she would release $250,000 from the Governor’s Disaster Response and Recovery Fund to the director of the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management to defray program and administrative costs.
