Meeting set for tonight for Oregon County residents affected by recent storms

Oregon County residents affected by tornadoes last Friday and Saturday will have an opportunity to get answers on how to proceed tonight at a special meeting at the Rover Event Center. The meeting starts at 5 pm. Oregon County Presiding Commissioner David Stubblefield said that hopefully, they will have some answers following an aerial assessment of the area by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Mr. Stubblefield is encouraging residents from Alton and Thomasville to be in attendance. Those who live in Oregon County needing any kind of assistance or basic aid with cattle containment are urged to come to the Rover Event Center tonight at 5 pm.
