Friday morning, 44-year-old Brian Ditch was arrested and has been charged with stealing $25,000 or more, three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, tampering with physical evidence, and abandonment of a corpse. Ditch was arrested after a search of his property on North Main Street resulted in the recovery of a body. Wrapped in several trash bags and a trash can. Veterans Affairs reports that Ditch had been living with his uncle, who was a quadriplegic, and that Ditch had access to his uncle’s money as his caretaker.
