Arkansas State men and women and Missouri State women all ended their seasons

NIT Tournament

DENTON, Texas (3/23/25) – North Texas’ Jasper Floyd sank a buzzer-beating jumper Sunday night inside the UNT Coliseum, as the Arkansas State men’s basketball team saw its stellar season end in a 65-63 loss to the Mean Green in the second round of the NIT.

Izaiyah Nelson led the Red Wolves with his 10th double-double of the season, tallying 16 points and 14 rebounds. Kobe Julien added 15 points, while Todd had 12 points – all in the second half – to go along with five assists and no turnovers. Derrian Ford was the fourth A-State player in double figures with 10 points.

 

 

Women’s NCAA Tournament

STORRS, Conn. (3/22/25) – Arkansas State women’s basketball (21-11, 15-3 SBC) concluded a historic season featuring the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance at UConn (32-3, 18-0 Big East), falling 103-34 on Saturday afternoon at Harry A. Gampel Pavilion.
The 2024-25 Arkansas State Red Wolves finish as the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Champions for the first time in program history, securing the first winning season since 2015-16.

 

 

Women’s WNIT Tournament

SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State women’s basketball’s (26-9) comeback effort fell short as the Lady Bears’ season came to an end after falling 78-71 to Minnesota (22-11) here Sunday afternoon at Great Southern Bank Arena.
