Two people were injured in an accident Saturday afternoon in Howell County. The Highway Patrol says an 18-year-old girl from West Plains and a 48-year-old woman from Mountain View both suffered moderate injuries when the woman from Mountain View pulled into the path of the vehicle the teen was driving. Both the injured were taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on U.S. 160 at Missouri 17.
A 19-year-old boy from Ava was one of three people seriously injured in an accident on Saturday. The Highway Patrol says the Ava teen and two men from Seymour all suffered serious injuries when the teen attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone and hit the vehicle the two Seymour men were in. All three were taken to Cox South In Springfield. the accident happened on Highway Z, two miles west of Seymour.
A man from Drury was injured in an accident in Douglas County on Saturday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports that a 55-year-old man suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road to miss a deer and struck a fence. The man suffered minor injuries and was taken to St Francis Mercy Hospital in Mountain View. The accident happened on Missouri 95 at Missouri Highway V.
