Around 8 pm Monday, the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) conducted a traffic stop in Winona. During the stop, deputies identified the passenger as David Munn, who was found to have a no-bond statewide extradition warrant for possession of a controlled substance and a probation violation. In addition to the warrant, Munn was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, both felony offenses. Munn was arrested and is currently being held in the Carter County Jail, awaiting further legal proceedings.
