Monday, Arkansas State head basketball Coach Bryan Hodgson announced that he would be leaving ASU to take the Head Coaching job at South Florida. Then, on Tuesday, ASU players Izaiyah Nelson and Joseph Pinnion announced they would be entering the transfer portal and following their coach to South Florida. Nelson was an All-Sun Belt Conference player, averaging 10 points and 8 rebounds, and Pinnion was the Red Wolves’ second leading scorer, averaging 12 points a game.
Terrence Ford and Derrian Ford are also expected to leave Arkansas State but have not announced where they will play next season.
