The National Weather Service has released new information after a survey of tornado damage in the Bakersfield area on March 14th. Originally, one person was listed as injured, but the latest update shows that the tornado injured four people and also shows a wider path and a longer track than what was first reported.
The tornado started near Gamaliel, then tracked northeast along Highway 101, where it uprooted and snapped numerous trees. Damage continued as the tornado tracked just west of Baxter County Road 43 before it moved into Missouri.
