Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders asked the president for an additional Major Disaster Declaration to assist the communities impacted by the severe storms on March 14th. The storms caused major infrastructure damage with hundreds of damaged homes and businesses.
With the damage assessment process now complete, Governor Sanders is specifically requesting public assistance in the following counties:
- Clay
- Greene
- Independence
- Izard
- Jackson
- Lawrence
- Nevada
- Randolph
- Sharp
- Stone
- Woodruff
The Mammoth Spring School Board will meet in Special session tonight at 5:30. The meeting is regarding personnel.
