The Shannon County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of six people on drugs and firearms charges.

On Saturday, the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office reported that they arrested William Eubanks and Kevin Kelly after a traffic stop was conducted near Eminence for equipment violations. During the investigation, it was discovered that the driver, William Eubanks, had a revoked driver’s license, and his passenger, Kevin Kelly, did not have a driver’s license. Eubanks disclosed that there was a firearm in the vehicle. Deputies removed the suspects from the vehicle, and Eubanks gave consent for a search. During the search, approximately 37 grams of methamphetamine, which field-tested positive, was found in the truck. A firearm and $679 in cash were also located on the suspects.

The Sheriff’s Office then arrested Catherine Garrison and Glenn Smith. Following a lengthy investigation led by Captain Brumble, SCSO SWAT served a no-knock search warrant. Catherine Garrison and Glenn Smith were arrested for distribution within a protected area (within 1500 feet of Eminence High School). Smith is currently on probation for third-degree domestic assault and possession of a controlled substance. A total of $444 in cash was located.

 

The Sheriff’s Office then arrested James Dooley and Amanda Worley. The Sheriff made an investigative traffic stop, which led to the arrest of James Dooley and Amanda Worley. Both were in possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, in possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession and unlawful use of a firearm (subsection 11). Additionally, Worley has an outstanding failure to appear warrant from Howell County for possession of a controlled substance.

All six subjects are currently held on a 24-hour hold at the Shannon County Jail, pending numerous felony charges.
