A grocery store in Izard County was destroyed by fire on Tuesday. The fire was at the Jordan Grocery at the corner of Arkansas 177 and Jordan Road. Firefighters from the Rodney, Jordan Fire District assisted by crews from Salesville, Norfork, and Pineville fought the fire. There were no injuries, but the building was a total loss. The cause of the fire is still undetermined at this time.
