A second person has drowned in flood waters in West Plains. According to reports, a 45-year-old West Plains man drowned when he attempted to cross a low water slab near Ramseur Road, and his vehicle was swept off the road into Mustion Creek.
The Highway patrol reports that a man from O’Fallon was killed in the flood on Friday. The 57-year-old man died when he drove into water near Howell Creek and washed off the road. The man got out of the vehicle and was washed away by the water. His body was later recovered.
