Shane Worthy was arrested after leading deputies on a High-Speed chase. Worthey was traveling north on Highway 125 towards Sparta. Sheriff Degase notified Sheriff Brad Cole, who was in the area. Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office located and attempted to stop Worthey. Worthey fled with speed reaching 100 mph. Worthey was apprehended at the end of a dead-end road when a spike strip was deployed by Sheriff Brad Cole, resulting in three flats on the vehicle. The vehicle caught on fire and became totally engulfed in flames. Worthey initially refused to exit the vehicle but eventually was taken into custody.
