A Springfield woman has been arrested in Izard County.

The 16th Judicial Drug Task Force discovered that 33-year-old Ashley Zallefrow had fraudulently obtained drugs at a pharmacy in Melbourne in March.  Zellefrow went to the pharmacy on March 24th and picked up a prescription for Promethazine-Codeine cough syrup, a Schedule V controlled substance. After filling the prescription, the physician contacted the pharmacy, stating she had not issued this prescription. Zellefrow returned to the pharmacy on April 5th to refill the prescription again, authorities were notified. Zellefrow allegedly admitted she was the person who had picked up the prescription and attempted to pick up the second. Zellefrow was charged with two felonies, and her bond was set at $10,000.
