49 year old Jon Gantz reportedly contacted the Oregon County Sheriff’s Office around 9:15 Saturday evening, saying that his truck had gone off the road. Deputies helped him get his vehicle unstuck and directed him toward his destination in West Plains. But authorities say he never arrived. Multiple agencies are involved in the search for Ganz, including the Oregon County Sheriff’s Office, Springfield Police, Missouri Highway Patrol,l and U.S. Forestry Service.
