Railroad bridge repaired in Mammoth Spring

BNSF crews have responded swiftly to recover service after a storm system hit locally last week. Thunderstorms, tornadoes, high winds and flooding caused operations to halt for Thayer North and Thayer South subdivisions in Missouri and Arkansas.

Crews returned the Thayer North Subdivision to service on Sunday. In Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, on the Thayer South Subdivision, flooding washed away a rail bridge over the Warm Fork Spring River. Crews replaced the bridge and returned the subdivision to service by 7:05 a.m. Thursday.
