NWS service says tornado that hit Ripley County March 14th tracked 117 miles

The National Weather Service now says the Tornado on March 14th in Ripley and Butler County had a track of over 115 miles. The NWS says the tornado that hit the counties was the end of an EF-4 tornado that stretched 117 miles. It started in western Stone County, Arkansas, traveled through Izard, Sharp, and Randolph Counties in Arkansas, and into Ripley and Butler Counties in Missouri. Four people were reported injured in this storm. The tornado had wind speeds of 170 MPH and was 1,400 yards wide. The NWS in Paducah says that this was the longest tornado in their area since 1950.
