FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.– Highlighted by the third perfect game in program history from junior Reis Beuerlein in the nightcap, the No. 10/11 Arkansas Razorbacks earned a pair of run-rule victories to sweep a doubleheader against Colorado State, 14-1 (5 inn.) and 8-0 (5 inn.) on Friday evening at Bogle Park.
Arkansas plays Colorado State again today.
COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri softball claimed its largest all-time victory over the nation’s top team with a 9-1 run-rule win over No. 1 Texas A&M Friday afternoon at Mizzou Softball Stadium.
NORMAL, Ill. – Missouri State softball (14-30, 12-9 MVC) split a Friday afternoon doubleheader at Illinois State (18-26, 11-8 MVC). The Bears fell 6-2 in the first game of the day, before bouncing back to win the series finale 8-2.
