On April 17, 2025, Howell County Sheriff Roberts and Howell County Deputies joined the United States Marshals Service, South Central Missouri Drug Task Force, Operation Relentless Pursuit Task Force, Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, and the Mountain Grove Police Department in locating and arresting 2 individuals on federal indictments for trafficking methamphetamine.
Virginia Perreira, 36, and John Zastrow, 34, were charged in a nine-count indictment returned under seal by a federal grand jury in Springfield, Mo., on April 1, 2025. The indictment was unsealed and made public Friday following the arrests of Perreira and Zastrow.
