Three accidents reported this weekend locally

A man from Thayer was injured in an accident north of Thayer early Saturday morning. The Highway Patrol reports the 22-year-old man suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the truck he was driving. The man was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on U.S. 63, one mile north of Thayer, around 1:30 Saturday morning.

Three people were injured in an accident south of Willow Springs Saturday morning. The Highway Patrol says that a 37 year old woman from West Plains suffered moderate injuries and a 70 year old man and 40 year old woman both from Ava, both suffered minor injuries, when the woman from West Plains lost control of the vehicle she was driving, after hydroplaning, crossed the center median and hit the vehicle driven by the 70 year old Ava man. All three were taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on U.S. 63, at State Route UU, south of Willow Springs.

Two people were injured in an accident south of Doniphan on Saturday. The Highway Patrol reports that a 37-year-old man from Doniphan and a 24-year-old man from Corning, Arkansas, both suffered moderate injuries when the man from Doniphan turned into the path of the man from Corning. Both men were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Highway E, three miles south of Doniphan.
