Bus Driver cited after child was injured on the bus

A school bus driver in Lawrence County, Arkansas, has been cited after a child was injured on the school bus. According to reports 50 year 50-year-old Melissa Milton was cited for endangering the welfare of a child after a child stood up on the bus to ask a question and she hit the brakes, throwing the child to the floor, “causing injury to his leg, face, and neck.” The child’s father allegedly said  that there were “no vehicles or other reasons to stop other than causing [his son] to fall.” The child was taken to a hospital, where it was discovered he had an injury to his neck. The incident was reported to the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline.
