Beginning today, anyone who plans to fly or enter a federal facility must have a real ID. Starting today, the Real ID is required. If you have not got yours yet, you can go to the revenue office near you. You will need proof of legal presence, like a U.S. birth certificate or passport, proof of identity, such as a current driver’s license or military ID, a Social Security card, and two proofs of residency, like utility bills or bank statements. More details and answers to common questions about the Real ID are available on the Department of Homeland Security website.
