House and Senate negotiators have yet to agree on funding K-12 public schools, and the House supports Kehoe’s position. But the Senate wants to fund the full $500 million that was proposed earlier this year.
Legislators must approve spending bills by 6 p.m. Friday. All other issues have to be resolved before the session adjourns on May 16.
