One person was injured in a go-kart accident in Black Rock last night. The Black Rock Fire Department and an Ambulance responded to the scene of the accident at the Bobby Humes Memorial Speedway in Black Rock, where one person was seriously injured. Authorities report that an AED, an Automatic External Defibrillator, was used. The victim was taken from the accident to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. No names have been released.

 

A man from Pomona was injured in a bicycle accident Friday morning north of West Plains. The Highway Patrol reports that the 50-year-old man suffered moderate injuries when he lost control of the motorized bicycle and overturned. He was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on U.S. 63 about an eighth of a mile north of West Plains.

 

A Cabool teen was injured in an accident in Pulaski County early this morning. The Highway Patrol says the 19-year-old boy suffered moderate injuries when his vehicle started skidding, went off the road, and hit a tree. The teen was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to Phelps Health in Rolla. The accident happened on Highway 17, about 11 miles south of Waynesville.

 

A teen from Kennett was injured in an accident north of Mountain View in Texas County. The 18-year-old boy suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the vehicle, hitting a MODOT sign. The accident happened on Highway 17, six miles north of Mountain View.

 

A 19-year-old boy from Cabool was injured in an accident east of Cabool on Friday. The Highway Patrol reports that the boy was injured when he drove off the road and struck a ditch. He was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on U.S. 60, one mile east of Cabool.
