In February, 22-year-old Jay Wilbanks Kilkenny was allegedly speeding on Highway 63 near State Highway PP south of West Plains, and then fled from the Trooper who was trying to stop him. On March 4, Kilkenny was stopped and admitted to being the driver who fled from police in February. Kilkenny denied the request to search his phone, which was confiscated until a search warrant could be issued.  A search warrant was granted on March 6, and law enforcement began a forensic examination of the phone. This search led to a video file depicting an adult man subjecting a boy appearing to be approximately seven years old to sexual acts. Kilkenny was arrested at his place of employment in Thayer and faces charges of aggravated fleeing and possession of child pornography. He posted a $50,000 bond.
