
Two Grandin residents suffered serious injuries in an accident involving ATVs. The Highway patrol says that a 16-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man were both injured when an ATV driven by a 13-year-old boy, side-swiped the ATV the 16-year-old was driving, causing him to overturn, and then was hit by the ATV the 26-year-old man was driving. Both of the injured were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Carter County Road 251, ten miles north of Grandin.
Two people were injured in an accident in Texas County on Sunday. The Highway Patrol reports that an 18-year-old male from Raymondville suffered serious injuries and a 16-year-old female from Raymondville suffered minor injuries when the 18-year-old crossed the centerline and hit another vehicle, driven by a man from Mountain Grove. The 18-year-old was flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on Missouri 17, six miles northwest of Summersville.
