On Sunday, the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of a man on drug charges. Deputies executed a felony drug warrant arrest for Jonathan Martin, of Winona. Martin was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class D Felony under Missouri state law. He was transported and booked into the Shannon County Jail, where he remains in custody. Additional charges may be filed.
The Shannon County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a woman on multiple active warrants. On Saturday, deputies with the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding an intoxicated female at a residence located at 9983 CR 331, near State Route D. Upon arrival, deputies identified and arrested Rebecca McGeathy on multiple active warrants originating out of Mountain View. McGeathy is charged with five counts of fourth-degree assault, resisting arrest, driving without a valid driver’s license, two counts of DWI, and disorderly conduct. Her bond was set at $9,200
A man from Eminence has been arrested for domestic assault. The Shannon County Sheriff’s Office reports that Jake Walker was arrested on Saturday for felony second-degree domestic assault. He was taken to the Shannon County jail, and bond was set at $5,000 with conditions of no contact with the victim, no consumption of alcohol or drugs, and mandatory alcohol and drug testing weekly.
