Two men arrested after traffic stop in Mammoth Spring

The Mammoth Spring Police Department and the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force are reporting the arrest of two men on Friday. Officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 63. Two men, Michael Henry and Pete Ramirez, were in the vehicle. Officers could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Both men admitted to not having a marijuana card. A search was conducted, and officers found a loaded 380 magazine in Rameriz’s pocket. Two pistols were located in the center console of the vehicle, one had the serial number removed. Officers also found a small baggie of a white crystalline substance that field tested positive for meth a small container with dried mushrooms,  a green leafy substance, a bag with multiple syringes, a prescription pill container marked hydrocodone with six pills. Henry had a warrant for possession of a firearm by a certain person. Both men were arrested without incident. The drugs were sent to the state crime lab for identification and weighing. Both men are convicted felons in Arkansas.
