43-year-old Steven Atteberry fled from police on foot into a wooded area. A drone was deployed as well as K9 York, and after a brief track by K9 York, Atteberry was located hiding under a cedar tree. He was taken into custody without incident. Atteberry was found to have methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on his person. Atteberry’s warrant was for stealing a motor vehicle with a bond set at $1500 cash only. Additional charges pending for felony flee arrest, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
