The West Plains City Council meets tonight at City Hall.

The meeting begins at 5:30 in Council Chambers. The agenda tonight includes several appointments to the Library Board and to the Tourism Board. Two resolutions, one authorizing the utilities director to execute an agreement with Great Rivers Associates for engineering services related to the Aid Avenue storage tank booster pumps. The other resolution is to authorize the city administrator to execute the necessary documents for the purchase of real estate at 118 West Broadway for $200,000. There are two bills on the agenda, one is the Second reading. An ordinance of the City of West Plains, Missouri, enacting a Mutual Aid/Emergency Response policy for the City of West Plains. The other bill is a Second reading. An ordinance rezoning certain property, thereby changing the official zoning map of the City of West Plains, Missouri, and defining the boundaries of the area to be changed on said official zoning map (property located at 702 Jefferson Avenue). The City Council will also take action on the ball field recovery and then hear citizen comments on utility bills, pet laws, and panhandling.
