According to the probable cause affidavit, a man was knocked unconscious after being struck in the face. While he was unconscious, he was hit in the face with a fist by a man identified as Gage Mayhall. The victim was flown to Cox South in Springfield because of internal bleeding. Police obtained a video of the incident. Mayhall was charged with first-degree assault on a special victim.
