In a move alongside other local school districts, Mammoth Spring School District has signed an agreement with Ozarka College to ensure students are ready for immediate employment and long-term success. The Ozarka Pathways Academy is a new workforce readiness initiative made for students across North Arkansas. The program will bring local industries, educators, and students together to teach life skills, career readiness, equipment operation, safety, resume writing, workplace etiquette, and financial literacy. “We are eager to see the positive impact the Ozarka Pathways Academy will have on our students,” Superintendent Mark Taylor said. “For those preparing to enter the workforce immediately after graduation, the program provides skills and experiences that can open doors and shape futures.” The Academy will be held on Fridays throughout the school year and will complement traditional high school schedules. “This program meets students where they are and empowers them to reach their goals,” said Dr. Josh Wilson, President of Ozarka College. “We’re proud to partner with our local school districts to provide students with meaningful opportunities-equipping them with the skills, support, and confidence to succeed in college, career training, or the workforce.” The Mammoth Spring School District is dedicated to working with the community to provide a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment to all students.
