Two people were injured in an accident in Carter County Wednesday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports that a 66-year-old woman from Grandin suffered moderate injuries and a 41-year-old man from Grandin suffered minor injuries when a man from Poplar Bluff was turning onto Highway 21 from Route K and was hit by the vehicle the woman from Grandin was driving. Both of the injured were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.
A man from Ava was injured in an accident north of Norwood Wednesday. The Highway Patrol says that a 28-year-old man from Ava suffered minor injuries when he hit a deer on Route C, seven miles south of Norwood. He was taken to Cox Health Medical Center in Springfield. The accident happened around 6 Wednesday morning.
