Utah Tech University says that there were no sustained findings against their former and current Missouri State President Richard “Biff” Williams. Williams was being investigated for misconduct at Utah Tech. Williams was named in a federal lawsuit for an incident in November 2023, for a prank during his final months at the university. Williams allegedly arranged vegetables to look like male genitalia on the porch of a university colleague recovering from a vasectomy and then left a note signing the names of colleagues, including two women, who played a role in enforcing Title IX laws and policies. Williams has referred to the incident as a mistake, a “mindless prank,” and a “lapse in judgment.” According to reports ,the external review commissioned by Utah Tech determined Williams’ behavior did not constitute sexual harassment.
